The Olympiad Diary

Participants came to the federal territory “Sirius” to try their hand at the OWAO 2023.

The theoretical round has ended. The score received by the participants at this stage will amount to 40 % of the final rating.

Today the jury members are up to checking the theoretical round works and the schoolchildren had the opportunity to attend master-classes and a lecture.

Today the Olympiad participants solved the practical round tasks. The score received by the participants at this stage will amount to 30 % of the final rating.

There were 46 questions in the observational round. The majority of them were related to working with the star charts.

Today the participants demonstrated their knowledge while solving the tasks of the express round, which took place on the technological platform “Sirius.Courses”.

All the Olympiad rounds have ended, and today the participants of the Open World Astronomy Olympiad attended a tour of the “Sochi Autodrom” and tried their hand at the intellectual game at the Presidential Lyceum “Sirius”.
